The Code signs three new members at ITB Berlin 2015

The Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation in Travel and Tourism (The Code) welcomed three new members who are committed to helping to prevent the sexual exploitation of children within travel and tourism.

Representatives from avenTOURa, ONE WORLD Reisen mit Sinnen and Travel College fur Touristik joined The Code’s General Manager Marc Joly and ECPAT Germany’s Mechtild Maurer on the Responsible Tourism stage during the ITB Berlin trade show to sign the offical Code of Conduct.

“We are delighted to welcome three new members to The Code. Along with our existng members from the German tourism industry, these companies are demonstrating their commitment to child protection within travel and tourism,” said The Code’s Marc Joly.

The signing ceremony was followed by coffee and light snacks at The Code’s booth in the Responsible Tourism hall to celebrate.
