­Neglected Children Society is a non-governmental organisation founded in 1997 as a non-governmental society of sociologists, psychologists, police officers, lawyers, publishers and social workers who work in the field of child crimes, crimes against children, children with deviant behaviour and child sexual exploitation. In 2000 Neglected Children Society became Bulgarian branch of ECPAT International and now it operates as ECPAT Bulgaria – national group of ECPAT, working on the problems of sexual exploitation of children, child trafficking for sexual purposes, child prostitution child pornography in Internet, etc.
